Hypnosis, on it’s own, does very little at all, other than instil a sense of calmness,
It is the therapy that is employed whilst within that state that can help you.
If Hypnosis is a blank canvas, the artist would use Hypnotherapy to create the picture.
Hypnotherapy is exactly as it sounds.
Therapy employed during Hypnosis, and it is a phenomenal tool capable of helping people who
wrongly believe that they are completely beyond help.
There are many different forms of therapy that are used in conjunction with Hypnosis.
But the 2 main forms are Suggestion Therapy and Analytical Therapy.
Suggestion Therapy works by altering erroneous subconscious beliefs and replacing them with
positive ideas, almost like replacing your Videos with a better quality DVD!
Analytical Therapy involves examining the originating cause of the problem, why the subconscious
has these erroneous beliefs in the first place.
Once you can see where the problem lies there is an "Aha!" moment, where things can click into
place, these problems are almost always developed during the formative years, and looking at it
from an adults perspective can prove to the subconscious that it has been wrong all this time.
This can be a very effective and powerfully emotional type of therapy.
